The Saanich North Industrial Group is a group of local industrial companies that promote the interests, concerns, and necessary goals of the manufacturing and industrial businesses in Saanich, Central Saanich, Sidney, and North Saanich.

This group meets quarterly to identify needs and challenges of the local industry and set the focus for advocacy work on behalf of this industry.

Areas of common discussion, focus and advocacy include:

• Attracting & retaining trained & qualified staff
• Increasing the availability of workforce / family housing in the region
• Enhancing transportation options for staff
• Enhance branding, marketing & PR opportunities for the region’s industry partners
• Increase networking amongst area managers & staff

Originally founded in 2011 the group boast over a billion dollars in revenues, $110 million in payroll, and 2,500 employees.
